Barbara Wilks
Barbara Wilks (Schneider), 88, formerly of Windsor Locks, CT, past from this earth on November 22, 2017, while residing at Life Care Center Memory Unit in Sparta, TN. She was born October 24, 1929 in Great Barrington, MA to Emil and Marion Schneider and was a graduate of Stephens College in Missouri.

Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Russell, in 1983 and nephew Robert Wilks in 2002. She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Pelkey (Douglas) of Sparta, TN and Vicki Carter (Michael) of East Windsor, CT; grandsons, Matthew Pelkey of Hartford, CT and Mark Pelkey of Vernon, CT; great-grandaughter Kyla Pelkey; brother Robert Schneider (Mary) of Marietta, GA, a nephew and nieces, Thomas Wilks, April May, Kathy Schneider, and Karen Huban.

Her big smile and kind heart will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her.
