Catherine was born on October 27, 1933 in Buford, GA to parents Bonnie and Mattie Edwards.Catherine was married to Ernest Glenn Whitaker on February 3, 1951 and Catherine worked for Avon Company as a Supervisor in Shipping and Receiving.

Catherine is survived by:

Daughter; Pamela Whitaker, Hartsville, TN

Grandson; Tony Somma (Pam), Hartsville, TN

Final Care Cremation Services in Sparta, TN is in charge of arrangements.
