Obituary for Shirley Sue Wyatt (Halliman)
A Celebration of Life service for Mrs. Shirley Sue (Halliman) Wyatt of Crossville will be held at Pine Eden Baptist Church on Friday, April 26, 2019 at 7:00pm in Crossville, TN. Pastor Ken Clayton will officiate.
Mrs. Wyatt passed away on Monday, April 22, 2019, at Cumberland Medical Center surrounded by family.
She spent 40 years in a fulfilling career as a nurse in Cumberland County; serving at Cumberland Medical Center in the obstetrics and surgical units, home health, and most recently at Hospice House. She was a member of Pine Eden Baptist Church for 30 years, where she enjoyed singing solo gospel performances during Sunday services. She enjoyed annual fishing trips to Dauphin Island, AL with her husband and many friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, John Andrew Wyatt; son Matthew & Kelly Wyatt; stepson John Stephen & Ginger Wyatt; sister Susan & Steve Swafford; brother Robert (Bob) & Terri Halliman, and a host of nieces, nephews, and great nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in her honor to be made to The Cumberland House, 140 Kates Korner, Crossville, TN 38555.
