William "Will" Matthew  Tadrowski
William "Will" Matthew Tadrowski, 68 of Fairfield Glade, Tennessee passed from this life on Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at his home.

Will was born Thursday, July 21, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of the late Leona (Kawczynski) and William Tadrowski.

Will was raised in Southside of Chicago, mostly in the Beverly area. He attended St. John Fisher Grade School in Chicago then Marist High School in Alsip, Illinois where he graduated in 1967. He attended Southern Illinois University of Carbondale, Illinois from 1967-1971. Will met his wife at SIU, Sharon Harold, in 1968 and married while they were attending college. They were married September 5, 1970 in Arlington Heights, Illinois.

Will volunteered for the draft after his completion of college serving the United States Army from October 19, 1971 to October 18, 1973. He was stationed at Fort Lewis near Tacoma, Washington for basic training, then Fort Gordon in Augusta, Georgia for military police training, then sent to Vietnam as a Military Policeman with the US Army 716th military police battalion, stationed in DaNang, Bien Hoa, Long Binh, and Saigon during three TET offenses. Will spent 10 months and 18 days in Vietnam. He completed his service at Fort Sheridan near Chicago, picking up AWOLS in several Midwest states.

Will and his wife Sharon settled in Northwest Indiana in 1974 (Portage, Valparaiso and St. John) where he was a Teamster Local 142 and then an Operating Engineer Local 150 mostly in the steel mills around Gary, Indiana. Will was a member of the American Legion in Indianapolis, Indiana. He retired as a Field Supervisor for Harsco Multiserv in East Chicago, Illinois early due to health reasons linked to Agent Orange in 2006. They built a house in Fairfield Glade and moved from St. John, Indiana in July 2006 where he resided until his death. Throughout their 47 years of marriage, Will and Sharon's children were their 15 dogs that they raised. Will really loved his dogs especially the current ones: Sunshine and Sophie.

Susan Tadrowski of Fairfield Glade, Tennessee

Brother-in-law: Richard Harold II of Oviedo, Florida,

2 Nieces: Sarah and Ted Tsagris of Valparaiso, Indiana
Jennifer and Jeff Atherton of Virginia Beach, Virginia

4 Nephews: Scott Baker of Valparaiso, Indiana
Michael and Amanda Olszewski of Chesterton, Indiana
David Olszewski of Valparaiso, Indiana
Richard Harold III of Oviedo, Florida

Will was preceded in death by his parents.

Will chose cremation and the family followed his wishes and a Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date.
