Angeline "Angie" Applegate, 82 of Fairfield Glade, Tennessee passed from this life on Monday, August 28, 2017, at her home.

Angie was born Thursday, May 30, 1935 in Big Foot, Texas and she was the daughter of the late Marcella (Morales) and Fedencio Balderrama.

Angie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid golfer. Angie was a great chef and her meals were loved by all. She was a hair dresser for most of her life and was very creative in both her career and her home where you would often find it decorated for each holiday, especially Christmas. Angie loved horse races. She loved her dogs, Jasmine and Cede.

Angie was survived by:

Husband: Bruce Applegate of Fairfield Glade, Tennessee

2 Sons: John Gage of Fort Wayne, Indiana
Gene Gage of Fairfield Glade, Tennessee

Daughter: Colleen and Scott Michon of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida

3 Grandsons: Jason Muller of Garrett, Indiana
Matthew Gage of Reading, Pennslyvania
Noah Gage of Chicago, Illinois

2 Step-sons: Bruce Allen Applegate of Medera Beach, Florida
James Thomas Applegate of St. Petersburg, Florida

1 Step-Grandson: Ryan Applegate of Bloomington, Indiana

Sister: Josie Leitch of Bay City, Michigan

3 Brothers: Fred Balderrama of Saginaw, Michigan
Jerry Balderrama of Lansing, Michigan
Robert Balderrama of Bay City, Michigan

A host of nieces, nephews, and friends

In addition to her parents, Angie was preceded in death by: Brother, Henry Balderrama; 2 Sisters, Jenny Jauregui and Sally Thomas; Step grandson, Chris Applegate.

Angie chose cremation and the family followed her wishes and a celebraton of her life may be held at a later date.
