Kenneth "Kenny" Allen  Mays
Kenneth "Kenny" Allen Mays, 45 of Sparta, Tennessee passed from this life on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at his home in Sparta, Tennessee.

Kenny was born Friday, November 26, 1971 in Crossville, Tennessee and he was the son of Lucille (Brown) Mays Lucas and the late Dallas Eldon Mays.

Kenny was an electronics tech in the United States Navy, taught Kindergarden thru 2nd grade in Virgina, and he helped with Mighty Mites at Alive in the Spirit Church in Jamestown, Tennessee for 5 years.

Kenny is survived by:

Mother: Lucille Mays Lucas and Stepfather John C. Lucas of Sparta, Tennessee

2 Brothers: Brian Mays of San Fransisco, California
Jason Mays of Sparta, Tennessee

5 Aunts: Freda and John Reagan
Faye and Wes Neil
Jo Ann Atkinson
Janice and David Atkinson
Pat and Irv Eddy

2 Uncles: Harold Brown
William Mays

In addition to his father, Kenny was preceded in death by: Maternal Grandparents, Cora and Egbert Brown; Paternal Grandparents, Mary and Emmett Mays.

Kenny chose cremation and the family followed his wishes and a Celebration of his Life was held Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Springs Chapel United Methodist Church in Banner Springs, Tennessee and a inurnment of his remains will be held at a later date.
